The Wild Orchid Café & Company's Coming

The Wild Orchid Café is a contemporary coastal American restaurant set in Annapolis, Maryland in the exclusive neighborhood of Eastport. Originally built in 1912, this charming bungalow style home was completely renovated for food service in 1994. We feature many homey touches such as a beautiful columned front porch, fireplace in the "living room" and back patio dining area as well as creative and unusual perennial plantings.

Our cuisine is based primarily on the local produce and humanely raised animals of the Chesapeake Bay area but borrow heavily from Southern and French techniques. Deemed "The Best Meal in Annapolis" by the Baltimore Sun, Chef Jim Wilder and team of Certified Chefs incorporate the finest seasonal seafood, game, and fresh local produce into the cuisine. For this reason, some have referred to our style as "Californian" meaning, we are well known for creative preparations using the freshest and finest local products, which makes for stunning plate presentations with a natural, simple beauty. We also offer a unique wine list with choices hand selected by our in house wine specialist. Exceptional service invites guests to explore The Wild Orchid Cafe's food and wine in the most hospitable of settings.

We are pleased to announce that we will be participating in the 2010 Annapolis Restaurant Week, which is sponsored by the Annapolis Business Association. The Annapolis Restarant Week menu will be offered February 15th - 21st, 2010. Guests will enjoy an appetizer, entree, and dessert...all for $15.95 per person for lunch and $29.95 per person for dinner.
